As a precursor to the publication of his book, Face to Face with Greatness, noted artist John Howard Sanden will be presenting "The Adventure of Portrait Painting," a lecture recounting highlights from his nearly 40 year portrait-painting career. Sanden's lecture will be held on Friday, January 23rd, at 7:00 PM at the Salmagundi Club in New York. The event is open to all, but tickets are required, and must be purchased online for $20 at The Portrait Institute. Portrait Institute Members are admitted free, but must also obtain their tickets in advance, as seating is limited.
