The
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, which is hosting the last stop of the John William Waterhouse retrospective, has posted a special addition to their website with much information about the show. This newly renamed exhibit,
Garden of Enchantment, opened last week, and will run until February 7, 2010.
At the exhibition's site, make sure to check out curator Peter Trippi's eight
videos describing several important paintings in the Waterhouse show.

I caught the exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. Worth a visit, but I have to confess, I wasn't as blown away as I was expecting to be.
Still, a big tick in a box.
One of my favorite artists. Thanks so much.
I just finished watching the videos of Peter Trippi. I have a much bigger appreciation for Waterhouse now, and I can see why he was a master of his time. Thanks for the post Matt.
