After four years away from New York City, artist Jeremy Lipking is returning to the East Coast for his fourth solo exhibit with Arcadia Gallery in SoHo. The show commences this Thursday, June 10th, with an artist's reception running from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and is on view until Friday, June 25th. On display will be over two dozen paintings by this talented, and highly-collectible young artist.

On Saturday June 12th, Lipking will be presenting a demonstration of his painting technique at the gallery. For those in the area, this will be a rare treat, as Lipking's busy painting schedule has often precluded him from teaching this far from his California home. The demonstration will run from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, and is open to the public, free of charge. Standing room only.

Arcadia Gallery is located at 51 Greene Street, between Grand and Broome Streets in SoHo. It is open 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and from 11 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks for posting so many images of Jeremy's paintings. I wish I could see the show.
Hey Matthew, the demo's on the 12th :p
Classical perfection! Even WHISTLER would like it...
I'll BE THERE.
Love the rosary still life and the interiors. That painting under the rosary painting reminds me of St. Eulalia by Waterhouse, which is quite a painting to behold. It also makes me think that perhaps Lipking is heading into a new type of conceptual work. I hope so. I would like to see what modern or historical narratives would look like in his paint.
@Sung-jae- Ooops! Thanks for catching that mistake! That's what I get for blogging when I should be sleeping!
Thanks Matthew for all your effort , I just enjoyed going through these works again and again....
Jeremy Lipking is from another planet.... Thanks for sharing!!!
