Californian artist and production guru, Tony Pro, has recently launched an internet education resource titled the Zarolla™ Online Art Academy. Aimed at the student who is unable to travel to or afford distant workshops, Pro has created an inexpensive subscription service through which anyone with a computer can watch and interact with today's realist masters as they conduct live, online classes. Teachers during the first session at the academy include Pro himself, as well as David Kassan, Christopher Pugliese, and Jeremy Lipking.

Zarolla™ Academy's first broadcast was this past Thursday, June 10th, with a four-hour drawing demonstration by David Kassan. For $30, participants were able to watch a high definition broadcast of Kassan creating a portrait, in his inimitable style, of fellow-artist Alexey Steele, and then afterward participate in a Q&A session with Pro, Kassan, and Steele. For those unable to watch the live stream, the broadcast was still available for viewing 24 hours after the demonstration concluded.

The next workshop will feature Tony Pro painting a portrait of radio talk show host Doug McIntyre live from the Old Oaks Cigar Company in Thousand Oaks, California. It will run from 2-5 PM (PST) on Saturday, June 19th with a cost of $20 for access to the live stream. To participate, register here.
As a special offer in honor of the inaugural broadcast, Kassan's demonstration will be available for download through Monday for $20.
