On Friday, November 19th, Richard Schmid will be returning to the Salmagundi Club in New York City to offer an alla prima, still life painting demonstration. Tickets for the event, which will run from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, are $50 apiece, and can be ordered online through Theatermania.com. Proceeds from the sale of tickets, and from the sale of the original painting Schmid will create that night, will benefit the Salmagundi Club and its ongoing renovations. Come out and see this Master paint, and support one of New York City's great art institutions.

Lucky people to be nearby and take part. One would be able to learn so much from this. I'd love to see the alla prima method he uses first hand. Maybe some day.
