New Art Books

--------------------------------------------------

Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California has recently stocked more imported art books from China.  Unfortunately, supplies are severely limited, and many of the titles are already sold out.  However, if you visit the site, you can place requests for the gallery to obtain more copies, and if enough people show interest, hopefully Gallery Nucleus will import more.  Among the titles offered are books on Anders Zorn, Pietro Annigioni, and Nicolai Fechin, but of particular note are the drawing books from the Repin State Academic Institute in St. Petersburg, which have been very popular among students currently enrolled in classical ateliers.

Also now available is a new book on the art of American artist Christopher Pugliese.  The 120 page book was limited to a run of 700 copies, and the first 100 sold will contain a free 18 X 24 inch print of Pugliese's painting, The Aim of the Artist.  These first hundred are priced at $79 USD, but after they sell out, the price (including insert) will increase to $95.
